Today at Hop Temple, we had a day that can only be described as a craft beer lover’s dream come true. Picture this: the sun shining, the chatter of friends filling the air and the aroma of freshly delivered craft beers teasing our senses. It was a day to remember, and here’s the scoop on all the fun that went down!
The Brew-tiful Arrival of New Craft Beers 🍻
First things first, we had a fantastic delivery of new-release craft beers that had us all on the edge of our barstools with anticipation. Each one of these brews is like a work of art, carefully crafted to delight your taste buds. If you haven’t already, you absolutely must swing by and give them a try. Trivia Night: Unpopular Culture vs. Pop Culture 🧠
Our trivia night was an absolute blast! The theme this time around was “Unpopular Culture,” which was quite the contrast from last week’s “Pop Culture”. It was like a battle of the underdogs versus the classics.
The rounds were packed with brain-teasers that kept everyone engaged and entertained. We delved into movie rip-offs, explored the realm of the most cringe-worthy songs and even had a couple of mini-games thrown into the mix for some extra fun.
The Viking Helmet Challenge 🪙
Now, let’s talk about those mini-games. We decided to turn up the quirkiness factor a notch or two. The highlight was trying to throw and land a viking helmet onto our trivia host Ben’s arms, legs, or even his head! Depending on where that helmet landed, teams earned differing points. Poor Ben took one for the team and caught a helmet to the face – talk about dedication to the game!
But wait, there’s more! The top four teams at the end of the night volunteered a member to compete in an epic Mario Kart race for some extra points. It was a fierce battle that had everyone cheering and jeering in equal measure.
