Hey Hop Fam!

What an absolute blast we had at Hop Temple today! It seems you all have a soft spot for Trivia because you turned up in full force, packing the venue to the brim. The kitchen staff were in for a whirlwind as plate after plate of BBQ brisket flew off of the pass. We’re talking serious BBQ paradise!

The theme of the night was ‘Birthdays’ in honour of our beloved venue turning 8 years old this week. And let me tell you, you guys celebrated in style!

18 teams went head-to-head in a battle of wits and wisdom. The competition was fierce, and the tension was palpable. Who would emerge as the trivia champions of the night?

Now, let’s talk about those mini-games. First up, we had a game that was like Capture the Flag, but with a football twist. Thirty seconds of heart-pounding action, and the person holding the ball at the end scooped up not only 5 bonus points but also a well-deserved free drink. And where did we find the ball holder? Behind the bar, of course! Talk about a strategic move!

Then came the party popper distance-popping competition. You folks blew us away with the sheer distances you achieved. It was like a confetti artillery show!

The leaderboard was a nail-biter. Only a hair’s breadth separated the top three teams. It was a close one, and each team brought their A-game.

A massive shoutout and a huge thank you to every single one of you who joined in on the fun. You’re the ones who turn our trivia night into the fun, interactive, and inclusive event that it is!

And guess what? The fun doesn’t stop here. Tomorrow, we’re back at Hop Temple, and this time, we’re shaking things up with musical bingo, all in the name of raising funds for St. Alipius Primary School. So clear your schedules, warm up those vocal cords, and get ready to strike some musical bingo gold!
