"Absolutely love visiting Hop Temple! A hidden gem of Ballarat that you need to visit! 🍻 Whether you're a Ballarat local or just visiting, this is one place you need to stop in at! There are heaps of craft beers on tap, delicious cocktails, wine and so much more. The food is always amazing as well. I highly recommend getting a heap of different dishes to share, (especially if you are with a group) so you can try a bit of everything on the menu. There are plenty of meals/options that are safe for the kids too if you were to bring them along for a visit. I personally love the pizzas, the meat platters, the popcorn chicken and the Skillet Mac and Cheese. The venue itself is absolutely insane, with lots of space and heaps of different sized tables, as well as an outdoor area and upstairs function area. For such a big space, these guys have done such an amazing job at making it feel very warm and comfortable, especially during the colder evenings in Ballarat. I highly recommend booking a table in advance if you can as they do get super busy!"

"Coming from Melbourne with heaps of American BBQ places, I thought I'd had the best, but this for me topped my list. The food was great, I couldn't fault it, plentiful, great flavour and well presented. Added to this, the service was brilliant, friendly, engaging and topnotch all round. "Brilliant food we had the BBQ plate, the buffalo chicken wings and the hop corn chicken which after a few pints was enough for 4 people. Great selection of a range of Australian beers both on tap and in cans, with a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and for anyone who used to catch an Australian public bus to school in the 80s and 90s a blast from the past 🤣🚌"

"Atmosphere and beer here is always good. We happened by on a sunny December afternoon and caught happy hour. The pints were cool and delicious, the wings spicy perfection (and the dipping sauce, omg) but those chips. Holy heck put those babies on my “last meal” list. Crunchy perfect chippies, my loves, I will be back!"
